Welcome to Nardo school's very own school band: Nardo skolekorps!
Want to join in?
We welcome everyone in the Nardo school district who wants to play an instrument in a fantastic environment for both children and parents!
Those who sign up in the spring (before May) will be offered to take part in the marching season - mainly May 17th (the national day) - either just marching or pompon twirling. Please note that participating require some Thursday's practice prior to the national day.
Instrument training ("Trondheim kulturskole" - Trondheim's Cultural School) and playing together (in the band) starts right after the summer holidays. You will borrow an instrument from the school band! No need of buying your own.
Sign up using this online form.
We ask all parents to download the Spond app. All activities are given there and any absences must be reported in the app.
Which instrument is highest on your wish-list?
The different instruments are presented here. We welcome all instruments, but this year we especially need cornet, horn, baritone, trombone and clarinet. Saxophone is best suited for the slightly older children, but you can start playing clarinet and then switch after a while.
You can select your instrument - please provide a first and a second choice. We do everything we can to fulfill your first choice.
